Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $28.00/hour for 30-40 hours/week

Vacancies: 03

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Summary:

West  Landscaping & Fencing Ltd is one of the best Landscaping and Fencing Contractors in London Ontario. We are currently looking for a high energy individuals to fill the role of Landscaping supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers on a construction project while adhering to deadlines, specifications, and codes
• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Hire staff and train workers, and general management of all employees on the work site
• Approves construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases
• Meets construction budget by monitoring projects expenditures, implementing corrective actions
• Resolve work related problems and recommend measures to improve productivity
• Allocate resources, materials, sub-contractors, and other staff
• Establish and create project plans and reports
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures

Requirements:

• Education: Completion of Secondary school is required
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in construction industry will be required
• Language: Basic English is a requirement

Work conditions:

•Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff

•Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

•Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
