Establish work schedules and procedures, Prepare and submit reports, Arrange for maintenance and repair work, Recruit and hire staff, Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization, Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations, Pay and receive payments for goods, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Receive and relay information to central dispatch, Load and unload goods, Perform preventive maintenance, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
